Natural light photography studio in Chelsea NYC with southern exposure.
I occasionally have unused blocks of time in my Chelsea photo studio and make the space available by request to photographers who need a clean, quiet studio for headshots, portraits, branding sessions, or small creative shoots.
This is not a large production studio or event space. It is best suited for photographers working with one subject at a time, small portrait sessions, actor headshots, LinkedIn photos, personal branding portraits, and simple creative shoots.
The studio has southern exposure, soft natural light, white floors, high ceilings, large windows, and a calm working environment. It is located in Chelsea, convenient to Penn Station, the subway, and other central Manhattan locations.
The studio also has access to an outdoor balcony area that can be used for additional portraits, branding images, or simple environmental shots. This gives photographers the option to create both clean indoor studio images and a few outdoor Chelsea portraits during the same session.
The outdoor space is best used for quick portrait setups rather than large productions.

The studio has natural light, white floors, large windows, and basic grip equipment including C-stands, V-flats, and apple boxes. Photographers should bring their own camera, lenses, lighting, modifiers, triggers, and any specialized equipment needed for the shoot.
Studio lighting is not included as a standard rental item.

Studio availability is limited and depends on my own shooting schedule and existing studio bookings. I am usually present during rentals, which keeps access simple and helps make sure the space is used properly.
This works best for photographers who need a reliable space for a few hours or a half-day, rather than a large production setup.
Half-day studio use, up to 4 hours: $250
The space is available by request only. Larger shoots, crews, video productions, and uses outside a simple portrait session may not be a fit.
The studio is located in Chelsea, Manhattan, near Penn Station and multiple subway lines.
