Creating successful headshots is a team effort between the photographer, the hair and make-up artist and the client. 

Since a rapport is so vital to great shots, we encourage  prospective clients to come in for a free consultation.

There are three headshot packages available:

1) DELUXE - $750 for an unlimited shot session, as many looks as you want, as much time as you need (average session time is approximately 4 to 5 hours), an online gallery, a post shoot consultation, 2 retouched 8x10's (TIFF format CD), a CD of all images shot (low res. JPEGs) and 4 Marketing Tool Items;

2) STANDARD - $450 for 2 hours of studio time, with 3 or 4 clothing looks, an online headshot gallery, 2 retouched 8x10's (TIFF format CD) and 2 Marketing Tool Items; and

3) CHILDREN'S PACKAGE - for children 10 and under - $250 includes 45 minutes of studio time, 2 clothing changes, an online gallery, 1 retouched 8x10 (TIFF format CD) and 1 Marketing Tool Item.

Preparing for Your Photo Shoot

Your photos are your most important weapon in your marketing strategy.

Many times your headshot is your first chance to make an impression on the decision makers.  So get sleep and don't party the night before your photo shoot.  Try not to stress over your shoot because that stress will often show up in adverse ways, like in your complexion.  Don't cut your hair for a week before your session.  Your hair is alive and reacts to being cut.  It needs time to adjust to a cut.

What to Bring

Most important is a good attitude!

Feel free to bring your old headshots.  Share your likes and dislikes.  If any of your friends' or colleagues' headshots appeal to you, bring them.   Examples help your team to see your sense of style. Many people enjoy music. Although we have over 200 CD's feel free to bring your own music.

What to Expect During Your Shoot

Our goal is to create your images in a safe, relaxed and nurturing atmosphere. And, with the Deluxe Package, we only book one client a day.

Your session is shot digitally.  Digital photography is a powerful tool allowing us to review our progress as we shoot.  So we know when we can change outfits, check your hair and makeup and delete any eye blinks or funny expressions.  Digital photos are shot in color so you can choose to have your headshot reproductions in color, black and white or even sepia tone.  And being that most reproductions are now a digital process, there is absolutely no quality loss reproducing your pictures.  As a matter of fact, digital shots are actually sharper than shots on film.  Yes, digital has come a long way in just a few years.

What to Wear for Your Shoot

Women:

Solid colors.  Colors that compliment you.  No prints, patterns, plaids, logos etc.  Textures are OK.   Black is good.  No cowl necks, boat necks, turtle necks (mock turtles instead) V-necks look good, business casual (blazer).  Bring several options so we can pick the best for you.  For comfort,  jeans or slacks are easiest to pose in.  No baggy clothes, no jewelry no hats.  It is important to feel great in your clothes.  If you feel good, you look good.  General rule with clothes is  when in doubt, bring it and the worst case is that we don't use it.

Men:
